to the AAJA-Hawaii Media Basketball League
(April 17 -- July 24, 2005)
The Basketball regular season is complete and all 11 teams are in the
playoffs to
battle it out for the title of AAJA-Hawaii media basketball league
champions. Come watch your favorite media personalities from the print,
broadcast and radio industries. Companies represented are: The Honolulu
Advertiser, Honolulu Star-Bulletin, Midweek, KHON, KITV, KGMB, KHNL, UH
Media Relations, Oceanic, AIO (KKEA 1420 AM, Hawaii Business, Pacific
Basin Communications) and Cox Radio (KCCN, KINE, 104.3 and KRTR).
Mahalo to the 11 teams for entering and supporting AAJA Hawaii.

KHNL defeated The Honolulu Advertiser, 39-28, in the Championship Game.

Schedule
For the first 4 weeks ( April 17 - May 8) Games will be played in Gym
2. No games on May 15 (UH Graduation).
From May 22 till the end of the season, games will be played in Gym 1.
Sportsmanship
All
players and spectators are expected to put sportsmanship first.
Remember, we are here to have fun. Please respect the referees,
opponents, teammates, fans, and facilities. Play clean, avoid swearing,
accept referees' calls, clean up when you leave, have fun.
