AP Reporter/Editor

The Honolulu Bureau of The Associated Press is looking for an experienced reporter/editor with a keen interest in Hawaii and Pacific cultures. Three years of reporting and editing experience at a daily newspaper or wire service are required. We're looking for excellence and originality as a reporter, writer and editor, with skills in both spot news and enterprise reporting for national and international multimedia.

The successful applicant must be willing to work both editing and reporting shifts at all hours. Speed and productivity combined with exceptional reporting and writing skills are essential. A strong portfolio of original, high-impact, informative reporting, as well as demonstrated skill as an editor will be key.
