AAJA is looking to revise its national

Sushi &
Sake night.
V.

Joann is
coordinating event. The event will be at Gordon
Biersch
at 5 p.m on Sunday, April 3rd. Look at
several options, including Dave

coordinating event with Shauna.
VIII.
Sushi & Sake Night
a.
Eugene will take over event. Eugene compared the expenses from last year
and projected
costs for this year, with and without Justin as coordinator. The total expenses would be more
without Justin. AAJA will work
with Justin, but under certain circumstances. Justin
will be required to sign contract and will need to meet
deadlines. Also chapter will need
to be informed of at least 5 vendors participating.
If conditions are not met, fees will be deducted. Eugene is also asking Justin to waive
room fee of $500.
b.
Silent Auction- Most of the revenue
last year came from silent
auction. Originally didn’t want to
hold silent auction this year to give sponsors a break until next
year’s
convention, but the event won’t be successful. A
silent auction will be included in this year’s event.
